Connect Google Gemini Account

To be able to use your Gemini API, follow these steps to setup integration.

Step 1

If you don’t have an Gemini account, sign up here

Step 2

Once you are logged in to Google AI Studio, make sure to first setup your billing.
Google Cloud offers $300 in credit to spend over the next 90 days for any of their services upon first registration with proper billing information.
To setup billing:
  1. Select Usage & Billing on the left menu panel.
  2. Next, select Billing tab and click on Set up Billin button.
  3. Follow the Google instructions to properly setup your billing information.

Once you are done with your billing information, click on the Get API key section at the top right corner or on the left side menu panel.

Next click on Create API key button.

Next, select Crate API key in new project, this will generate your new Gemini API key, copy it.

In Admin Panel, navigate to AI Settings -> AI API Keys tab.

Click on Google tab there.

Include your API key under Gemini API Key input field.

After you are done with configurations, click on Save button.
Congratulations! You have successfully comleted the Google Gemini setup process.
