Introduction

Davinci AI gives you full flexibility on model granularity access for each and every user based on his user group. You can set limited cheaper AI models for Free Tier users and provide more advanced models access to your paid subscribers.

Make sure to configure your target AI vendors first before providing access to foundation models of that vendor to your users

AI Models for Free Tier Users

To control free tier users access to AI models follow these steps:

Step 1

First, make sure to configure your target AI vendors and include their API keys. Refer to the docs on configuration of each and every AI vendor that is supported in Davinci AI.

Go to Admin Panel -> AI Settings page, click on Free Trial Features tab.

Step 3

Under Available AI Models section, you can list to which AI models users without any subscription plans will have access. You can select just one model or any combination of them, the choise is fully yours.

On that same Free Trial Features tab, you can also set Default AI Model for Chat Bots and Default AI Model for Templates, these are essentially will be the default models for users when they first register. Afterwards then can of course change it under My Accounts -> Set Defaults page with a new one among the allowed list of AI models.

For the default models, make sure you select from the list of AI models that you enabled in Step 2.

After you are done with configuration rest of the settings, click on the Save button.

Congratulations! You have successfully completed setting up AI models for Free Tier users.

AI Models for Subscribers

For subscribers you can include different AI Models based on the selected Subscription plans.

Please note that all SaaS features are only available with Extended License

Step 1

Go to Admin Panel -> Finance Management page, click on Subscription Plans tab.

Click on a Create New Subscription Plan button or edit your existing Subscription Plans.

Under Included Extra Service Limits section, you can includes AI models for Available Models for All Templates and Available Models for All Chat Bots.
This way you can set different combination of AI models for AI Writer and AI Chat features as needed.

After you are done with configuration rest of the settings, click on the Save button.
